Finnish packaging printing successful in USA

Marvaco, together with Pyroll Lempäälä and Vaasan Oy, were the best in their category and won silver medal in the esteemed FTA Excellence in Flexography printing competition, held in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. The product of Vaasan Oy, Koulunäkki Kaura crispbread wrapper designed by Remes & Packart Oy, was printed at Pyroll. Marvaco was responsible for producing the printing material and the Full HD printing plates.The recognition was received in the Mid Web process colour series. The impressive quality of the package, transferred from gravure printing to flexo printing, was maintained in the new printing method due to Marvaco’s newest printing tools and the Full HD technology. The quality of the packaging print was implemented so that it corresponded to the gravure printing. The bright and intense colours in the opaque surfaces of the print job impressed the jury.
