Flexo ABC training day in Tampere

Flexo ABC training day was held for the 13th time on the 6th of June this year. Once again a nice day with 36 people in Tampere, Finland. The training has been ran since 2007 by the Finnish Packaging Association and lectured by Matti Kiijärvi from Flexica and Kai Lankinen from Marvaco. During the last 13 years they've trained about 450 people into the principles of flexo printing.

It’s informatively a fully packed day for people working in sales, print production, converting, production planning, administration, purchase, supplies, DTP, packaging design & brand management. It's a massive information packet for participants to have a full cross-section of the whole packaging printing industry from labels, papers, plastics, cardboard, corrugated, offset, gravure, dry-offset, screen, repro, design - just in 6 hours. The discussions during the day are very empowering and it’s very nice to be part of the day. The core message is: everyone is learning the flexography by doing as there are not schools teaching it in Finland and there's no such thing as a stupid question.

And yes, we're already looking forward to the next Flexo ABC to be held in June 2020!
